A graduate of the University of the Philippines (UP) topped the licensure examination for nutritionist dieticians given by the Board of Nutrition and Diatetics in Manila and Zamboanga this July, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced yesterday.
The PRC said Abigail Martin, of UP-Diliman, led the 507 successful examinees with a score of 86.50 percent, followed by UP-Los Baños graduate Cathlin Abraham, 85.65 percent.
There were 757 examinees who took the exam.
Another UP-Diliman graduate Karen Cukingnan landed in third place with a grade of 85.40 percent while UP-Los Baños graduate Anjelia San Buenaventura placed fourth, with 85.05 percent.
Fifth placer was Eusebeia Joy Mendoza, of UP-Los Baños with 85 percent followed by UP-Diliman graduate Phoebe Dawn Masallo and University of Santo Tomas graduate Riz Ivana Teng who shared the sixth spot with 84.95 percent.
UP-Los Baños graduate Kirstein Itliong landed in seventh place with a grade of 84.85 percent. UP-Diliman graduate Lenliegh Hope Luces ranked eighth with 84.75 percent.
UST graduate Johanna Lois Pinca and University of San Agustin graduate Gracielle Pauline Jo captured the ninth and 10th place with a score of 84.70 percent and 84.60 percent, respectively.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Aug 4 until Aug. 18.
